Default Sunday Morning Bonus

I was outside shooting arrows, when a group of 6 crows landed on a tree behind my house, to escape the wind briefly, so i ran inside and grabbed my 22 rifle. Nailed this big one via head from about 50 yards, counting elevation.

needless to say all the others flew away, and i didn't get anymore.

That's a nice shot. Your crows must not be as skiddish as the ones around here though. If they land in the back yard I can't go out the front door without them flying. I make life hard on them around here though. If they start making a habit of landing then flying before I can get out I'll crack the back window in the kitchen, and shoot them through it without them seeing me.

oh trust me they are just as skittish here, usually ill only have time to get out and aim for a second, before they recognize the rifle, and fly away. but this time i think they were distracted w/ the wind blowing so hard, and the branches waving so much. I was aiming forever, waiting for a brief calm in the wind to take my shot, and a couple flew away, but not all of them.

good enough..itll take me about that long to save up for a new .308 to bring w/ me LOL. I got a lot on my list for next year. I also wanna buy a dedicated 20 gauge slug gun, for next deer season, as well as a muzzleloader.

for your 20 gauge slug gun, go with a H&R ultra slug hunter or a tracker2 i have the tracker2 which is only lighther, and man this thing is so accurate, mine likes sst's. and there cheap too.
