3 degrees? That's a really shallow angle, are all of the squirrels on the ground. You can't possibly be talking about temperature, here it's 75 and sunny. I'm headed out for an afternoon deer hunt in my camo shorts and a tee shirt[8D]

It was 55 degrees today with a wind chill of about 52. I saw nothing so it's got to bewarmer than that.

I saw a cat-size fox squirrel adding leaves to his nest this morning. It was 6 degrees. Usually they don't move unless it is 20-25 and sunny. He must have decided he needed more insulation. My daughter and I got a kick out of watching him. Can't figure out why he is using a leaf nest this time of year...usually they are in den trees by now.

I have trees full of them on my place they are all cat sized here. A friend of mine gutted one and took it back up north to prove it was one due to there size
