I have been shooting the 204 ruger for a little over a year now and i am very well pleased. The cartridge has plenty of knockdown for yotes and is extremely flat shooting.I shoot a 38 grain hornady handload and my farthest shot on a yote has been 354 yards stopped the dawg dead in his tracks.Although on close range shots sometimes passes through so fast it doesnt expand as well, but that ,may just be my load.

Who is offering a 38 gr. bullet, what type of bullet?

I'm lovin' my .204 AR. The more I use it, the more I like it. I'm currently shooting the 40 gr. berger bullets, and they are performing very well on coyotes.

Howler - What kind of groups you getting the the 40gr Bergers? I've heard quite a few guys complain they can't get the heavier stuff to shoot well. One of my coyote calling buddies is getting a 204 and we are looking for a good starting load for dogs. My dads business partner is also getting one, and wants me to load for him as well. I have no real world experience with one yet.

I shoot a Savage in a .204 and with the factory Hornady 40gr v-max they drop them in their tracks! I am very pleased with its accuracy as well!

Here's a link to Hornady's website, listing all the .204 bullets. No where have I seen 38 gr. bullets offered, not even from Hornady.
https://www.hornady.com/shop/?ps_session=89bf49078d46cecaf1a1c8af7dd51665&p age=shop%2Fbrowse&category_id=6312df5e5c963e04 88747385ce958c60

SO DOGCALLER, who's offering 38 gr. bullets, and what type of bullets are they. HP, BT, SP?
