Thanks guys, I am shooting a Swift right now and am looking for something with similar ballistics, I read as many pages as I could to see who else was using it (swift). I didn't even recognize the .204 came up so often.. Didn't mean to be repetitive, just got excited.

I don't know if you seen me ever mention it in the CB forum but I like my .204 alot. It is flat and fast and is the sweet spot between the .17 and a .22 cal round. The .204 also is considered a "safer" round since it does not ricochet as much as the .22 cal rounds will. The best Hand load I have worked up is 39 bliztskings on 28 grain of 4895. was about 5/8 inch group I think. Have shot it much since I had to many forks in the fire, but am getting ready to start hand loads again for this spring. Things look alot better now since when I first bought it the only way you could get brass was to buy Hornady.Hornady and Sierra where the only bullet makers at that time also. Now they are all making them and brass is available. This spring should be fun.

What kind of groups you getting the the 40gr Bergers?
I never got to shoot a group when I had no wind, BUT I did manage to get a couple of groups of about .70" with them. The load I'm currently using is 27.2 gr. of H4895. Rem. 7.5 primers and Win. brass. Chrono'ed a little over 3600 fps.

Not too shabby then Howler. The reports I've heard from a few guys was alot worse than that. I guess I'll just find out when I start brewing up some loads.

I'm shooting about a 1/2"-5/8" group @ 100 yards with 39gr of BLC(2), factory Hornaday brass once fired from my gun and neck sized, a 40gr V-Max bullet, and CCI primers. I haven't shot it through a chrono, but out to around 300 yards my point of impact is still close to the factory loads. I haven't got to shoot with zero wind yet either.

I said I was loading 39gr of BL-C (2), I was mistaken, I'm loading 29gr. I went to load a few more tonight, and saw my mistake on my data sheet.
