One other question, is the use of dogs permitted in the taking of yotes? They are the weapon!

i need some info on yote hunting. i know this is a dumb question, but would a .410 slug be sufficient for a yote? if so what would the max distance you would shoot one with it. also would 20 ga. 7 1/2 shot mess up fur? idk if i could even get a yote within 30yds. but just wonderin. ive never hunted before.
