Slingshot Hunters????
#16
Mostly I use a 20 gage, .22, or spring piston air rifle. I do have a wrist rocket type slingshot, and I've toyed with the idea of using it for small game, but I'd seriously need way more practice with it before I could attempt to hunt with it. I just overseeded a portion of my front lawn with dutch clover, if it works as well as I think it will I'll be able to test that sling from the comfort of my patio. One of the homes I grew up in had a lot of that particular clover in it's lawn seed blend, so we had tons of rabbits feeding right outside the back door all day long, and my parent's master bedroom had a bathroom window that faced the back yard. Needless to say, I had bunny lunches a lot back then.

Wow that must have been awesome. My bedroom faces my mothers garden in the backyard. I see rabbits there all the time. I keep my air pistol right by the window. It is quite a bit of fun, and they taste pretty good with this recipe my mom has. Now Im gonna try getting them with my bow from my room. That should be more difficult because the garden is about 50 yards away!!

50 yards? Good Luck man, I find it a bit hard to pin Rabbits at 30 feet away, especially when an arrow is teaveling 75 MPh like my bowand the rabbit could dodge it. Didn't you have a pic of a youth bow or soemthing. go take some rabbits with that, its more of a challenge when arrows travel slower.

All youd end up doing is pissing off a wolf but turkey shoud be fine. But you should buy actual broadheads(3riversarchery.com) if you're going after turkey. Maybe a baby wolf. But I'd keep a baby wolf as a pet
so cute. I got steel slingshot ammo today!!!!Your slingshot could theoretically kill that deer in a couple of weeks through an infection, but how would you track it?

I don't know. That comes back to my arguement on Traditional Archery Forum (Who hunts with Indian Bows), I was suggesting I could use arrowhead poison to kill a Deer with my bow, or shoot it in the neck to bleed it. Didn't work out with the other guys, they went crazy mad and taunted me and stuff, pretty funny. It could happen though. Anyway, I personally think at close range a 30# bow can kill a Wolf. But thats my opinion. I just see that if you hit it in the vitals up close (15-20) feet, the arrow should drive through at least 5-6 inches enough to kill it. All about shot placement. But that would be hard. Tommorow im going after some Cottontails with my bow again, I just wish i had someone to hunt with. No one hunts around here that much. For tracking the deer within 3 weeks, i doubt i will find it. And besides the meat would be spoled and stuff.
