Default GROUND HOG HUNT

Great weather this afternoon(Saturday). No rain storms. I got a few shots off, but the grass needs to grow a little. It should take about a week for the grass to grow a little, and then the Ground Hogs will get a little confidence and come out again. Most of our Ground Hogs live in the woods or field edges and wander out into the fields. I had my crosshairs on one Ground Hog and just as I was pulling the trigger a deer's head came into the scope. It was a buck with 3-4 inch knobs on his head. The deer scared the Ground Hog worse than he startled me, I never did get another shot at that Ground Hog this evening. The hunting should pick up in a few days. Tom.

Default RE: GROUND HOG HUNT

I bet I could take a groundhog out with my slingshot, what do you think?
