My Ruger M77 standard .223 will shoot .6" groups at 100 yards. My furthest confirmed kill on a crow is 185 yards. My furthist unconfirmed kill is 220 yards. The only thing I did to the rifle is put a Timney trigger on it. Definitly worth the money.

I will proubably get criticized for this because there is a few people on here that is really immature and cant leave things be, but i would go with a Savage. I have a couple and i like them more than anything else ive ever had. They are cheap and very good quality for the price.
I got a used savage model 10FP non accu-trigger version in .223 with a scope and rings for $400. at the moment its my favorite rifle with my handloads its shooting 3/4" groups at 200 yards. I wouldnt say its cheap its very comparable to anything else out there

Go to your walmart and handle a couple rifles to see which one feels right for you. Any of the bolts mentioned would be a good choice. I had a NEF Handi rifle and it is quite accurate also. Once you get use to it you can load it pretty fast.
