Good luck to you and your new caller. I hope that you kill a few!

I just recently bought a new caller and today, only the second weekend out with it, I had two coyotes come up to me less than 10 yards away!

Just got back last night from 'yout hunting in NY below Downsville. Lots of snow and tough walking in. Set up and did a few barks and howls to see if anyone was home. All's that did was bring in some crows and ravens. Went to the cottontail distress, no luck, fawn distress, no luck. Hunted for 2 1/2 hours with nothing more than a cold butt from sitting in the snow.
Sunday morning tried a few yips and howls, nothing. But, on the drive home, we saw 2 coyotes in separate spots mousing along RT17. Go figure!!

Jake do you have a Fx3?

Also are you overflowing with money? You said you are going to buy a new .223 or something now you are going to buy a FX5? The FX5 is like $600 a new gun will be about the same. You really gonna drop $1200?

Got one last week while pig hunting. This was a very dark and skinny coyote on its last legs. Even it's tail was ratty.
