Anyone have any good ways to trap him/kill him that doesn't involve using my 20 ga?

Fine use your 12 ga then. When your neighbors come running out, just glare at them and yell, "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?"

Love the rat trap and super glue trick! I have a rat trap that I've been putting Crackers with PB on, but he keeps getting the PB. The trap must be getting closer because there was fur in the trap last time!

He's out-smarted my rat trap 3 times already. Every time it catches a few strands of fur, but no squirrel. I'm going to try the superglue trick tonight.
I'm heading to my parents' house this weekend, I think I'll bring my pellet gun back and see if he can outsmart it!

I trapped squirrels exclusivly for 2 years and ive only ever had a few rat traps set off with nothin dead in it. Ive watched a few squirrels after setting off the trap and there is almost no way he can get out of it. try making a wall along the sides of the trap so as to force the critter to go at straight on. Or you could just shoot it.
P.S put only a little P.B. on top of the trigger and a little in the bottom of it,make sure its really smeared on so he cant just pick a blob up a go with it.
