Default saw my first predator

so I setup this morning and hit my call and nothing for 10 minutes. so I hit it again and I here something behind me, I dont see anything and then nothing for another 15 minutes. hit my call one last time and hear something behind me again, I turn aroundto look and there is a loud crash in front of me so I flip around real fast to see what happened andmy call was being attacked by an Owl. scared the living sh*t out of me, but it also made my day!

we've called in quite a few owls this year already. Always the same reaction, scared the living sh*t out of me. Goes with the territory I guess.

I was deer hunting one time in a hang on stand and i was 20 feet in the air and i was getting attacked by an owl. Its pretty scary when you cant see where its coming from when its dark. The first time it did it it just swooped in front of my face and i though... well it just didnt know i was there, then i thought... wait, its nocturnal so it had to of saw me. the next time it hit me in the side of my face and went behind me and then hit me in the arm. I yelled that time and it just went in the tree and watched me until daybreak. That was a rare and scary encounter. I still saw and almost shot a deer even though i yelled.
