Default Jackrabbits in wisconsin??

I was out rabbit hunting today and i saw the biggest rabbit ever. It was 3 times larger than a normal rabbit. I didnt get it but it shure looked like a jack rabbit. I was wondering if they actually exist in southern wi.

its very doubtful that it was a Jack rabbit but was likely a Swap Rabbit which is a large breed of cottontail. You should have shot it they are fine eating.
