That is one awesome squirrel. Looks like a few my brother and i killed in Randolph county when we were kids.

It's big, and it's known as a fox squirrel. Plenty of them around here, but their numbers are starting to dwindle.

yeah i have to agree with criggster,it is a fox squrrel..A a grey squrril is solid grey and like 2 times smaller than that beast.

with squirrels that size i think the minimum squirrel caliber requirements need to be .45-70 or something

Here grey squirrels must run big or something as most grey squirrels here are big though, and that is one big squirrel regardless, Congrats to you.

Definately a fox squirrel and its a nice one. We get them almost that size here in n'west Ohio congrats on squirrel.
