I thought this stuff about jackalopes was a big joke until I had a 14 point sneak up on a turkey decoy a couple of years ago. When I put a bead on him and was getting ready to drop the hammer---he flat disappeared. Not sure there are Boone and Crocket records on jackalopes---but this one would have had to be one for the record books.

never saw one that big...my best is a small 6. My uncle shot one about 12 years ago with double brows....you don't see those too often.

Never saw any of those southern ones myself( soundslike a nice bigin tho)

I see a buck jack lope now& then here. But i do see the females a lot. I think they have a remote breeding place deep within the mtns, surrounded by manymore mtns.
