Your 22. mag will get the job done, shot placement is a must. The 12 ga.
will also do a fine job.

wow, i was thinking the same thing about .22 mag for coyotes. i'm getting a .22 mag and 12 gauge combi barrel single shot for under 200 dollars. the .22 mag i have now is great. i still have 5.5 inch groups at 200 yards. just whatever you set ur scope to. after that just pull the trigger. .22 mag has AWESOME knockdown power too. it's an all around gun for predators and small game. .223 are not as good in my opinion though because my one friend has a .223 and he is really getting tired of the wind screwing around with the bullet because of it's shape. i would always choose a .22 mag over a .223!(no offense guys)

I have been using my .30-06 for yotes. however thats getting expensive and i was wondering if .22 with rem. hollow point yellow jackets would work. ive got a semi auto and i can accurately place 4 shots in the same spot in a matter of 3 sec.
