sewing up bullet holes

Default sewing up bullet holes

i just shot my 4th doe and kept the pelt. it is fleashed and ready to be tanned. does n e one have any advice on how i should sew it?

when i sew it should i wait till after it is tanned or should i just sew it now.

I would wait till tanned. if they have to do any thinning or shaving ,then the sticthes will come out anyway.

wait and when finished you can trim and sew.[&:]
