I want to do some rabbit hunting this season, but I don't have any dogs. Does anyone else hunt rabbits without dogs? If you do, then how do you go about doing it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

hunting rabbits without dogs is not as productive but is just as fun.bottom line here is you have to be the dog.its best to have a buddy with you,one kicks or go's in the brush and the other watches and waits.or you can do it by yourself, kick the brush and be ready.watch the opposite side, thats more in likly the side it will bust out.but somtimes they will run out right next to ya,so pay attention.

Use a .22 and work the edges between briars and fields or grassy regions. Work it during "saflay" (Read Watership Down by Richard Adams to understand that term). You have to have good eyesight and work into the wind.
As a youngster I filled the pot on many occassions with a Powerline 880 air rifle and some good pellets.
