Go to your search engine and type in sleepcreek traps and victor traps. Those are the two best traps makers I recommed. I don't trap as much as I used to. Mainly because I have no time left for it.

Some of the forums specifically meant for trapping have topics that deal with this. Try http://trapperman.hypermart.net/cgi-...er=1&SUBMIT=Go . If you click on Basic sets along the top it should have some info. Otherwise use the search there and you will find it.

Now I know who you are there trapperDave. I'm woodchuck over there. Guess should have said first that (I feel) the #110 conibear (instant kill) has probrably accounted for the vast majority of muskrats taken since it was introduced.

all i can say is victor are the best but whatever you do dont get duke traps. ive tried them and you have to drive a truck threw them to set the off.

I agree, duke does suck and there not built at good as victor. But that goes by preference I guess. Anyones trapping season start yet?

Check out the new Dukes,THey have come a long way.All new traps need a little fine tuning.
