There is no reason why you can't take a bow with you during the gun season. I rarely put down my bow anymore... I guess its just because I like it so much. Not too mention... once you end up getting...

Congrats Rick!:D My Dad and I got out yesterday but the woods where we hunt were dead. I was surprised to not see at least one deer, but thats how it goes sometimes.

IMHO the rut is on time like usual and starting to pick up now. I was out Monday afternoon and saw a mature 8-pointer. The first two times I saw him he was working some scrapes and minding his own....
