RE: Washington Hunters...Multiple season permits.....

Good point, they could fund more wardens by writing more tickets. I really don't know why they don't get more agresssive and go after the guys who are commiting the serious violations rather than...

RE: Washington Hunters...Multiple season permits.....

The lack of game wardens is directly related to the lack of money. I'd like to see them raise the price of deer and elk tags, and increase the number of game wardens, by a substantial amount. They...

RE: Washington Hunters...Multiple season permits.....

Brush Hunter, you're right...I only remember the liberal hunt-any-season-you-want from hearing my uncle and others talk about it. It would be great if it was still that way, but there are too many...

RE: Washington Hunters...Multiple season permits.....

Yes, it is a way to get money from hunters, but we are their customers and buying the product is voluntary, so I sure don't see a problem with that. And you're right, these forums are for voicing our...

RE: Washington Hunters...Multiple season permits.....

I agree, it would be better if they would only manage wildlife and not listen to what the people want. But again, that's a hard thing to do. Being a state agency they are under a lot of pressure to...

RE: Washington Hunters...Multiple season permits.....

How are the possibilities endless when they have anti-hunters to contend with on one side of the spectrum, and on the other side hunters who insist on over-the-counter tags? They're trying to please...

RE: Washington Hunters...Multiple season permits.....

Nope, not kidding at all. Who do you think would do a better job at managing our wildlife? What would you do different if you were them? Would you have more liberal or more restricted seasons? You...

RE: Washington Hunters...Multiple season permits.....

I would be hunting the muzzleloader and rifle seasons. Actually if I had the money I would buy a bow and hunt that season as well. But, just had a baby 4 months ago, and really can't justify the...

RE: Washington Hunters...Multiple season permits.....

I don't have a problem donating money to the WDFW. They need all they can get, and they spend it on things I would want my money spent on. I'd rather they have my money than useless state agencies...

RE: Washington Hunters...Multiple season permits.....

Yes, I was one of the stupid ones, and I drew the elk, but not the deer. I probably won't buy it though because I have a deer hunt planned in Oregon at the same time as the early muzzleloader elk...

RE: Washington Hunters...Multiple season permits.....

I would apply for it if I had the money. I would love to be able to hunt both the muzzleloader and rifle elk seasons. For those of you who think it's a bad idea, don't blame the Fish & Wildlife Dept....
