Maybe in your neck of the woods. Different land calls for different measures. There is land that I hunt if you aren't putting out a food source, you aren't seeing a deer.

Really depends on the situation and the area.

I have no clue where you reside, but there has to be a lot of snow and cold temperatures for a sustained time to hurt animals.

DNR banned feeding in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan... Deer have had a hard winter already... Glad we got some ran and warmer temperatures.
