I am still working at it. Seen a lot of jakes, early on heard several birds on the roost, but not lately. Going out this evening and give it a try.

I can still hear OK unless there is some background noise. like the other morning the wind was blowing some, or if in a crowded area and lots of people talking, but I just keep saying "HUH??"

Finally got out Wed. morning. Heard 4-6 birds on the roost, hard to tell for sure, windy, maybe a couple double gobbling, plus hearing not that great after 23 years working in a power plant. Didn't...

I saw a bunch of turkeys last Sunday, about 30, my youngest brother (chipper1) seen a group of toms close to his place the other day, I am getting the fever bad.

I hunt with a Benelli SBE 1, I put a steady grip stock on it and it is sweet. For bow Bowtech Guardian.

Actually, I am taking both to the field with me(after checking to make sure it is legal). At least on the first couple of days that is my plan.
