True, most mechanicals do not do well on quartering away. Not that they will always mess up, but are a little more suspect of deflection than a fixed head. Ive killed many animals with them, but...

I think they are one of the best mechanicals. Ive used them and had success every time I used them. Never open during flight. Hit hard, penetrated well (still not as well as a cut on contact fixed...
