Is there any type of cover or protector made to fit on scopes to keep scope clean on a bp rifle so it does not get full of crud or what do you use ?

I am using original factory nipple from cva ,it is on a hunterbolt 54 cal. I guess this happens mostly when just popping caps off before loading I just tried it today & that is the only time it acted...

I am having trouble with remington & cci #11 caps plugging nipple when drying barrel or hunting . They plug the end were cap goes on with what looks like paper, you can pick it out & it will fire ....

cayugad as far as blood trails go my father & I shot 5 deer with them , 3 never moved & 2 went 40 yards ,the blood trail on the ones that ran were not spraying by no means but they did not go far...

lets say I am using a 250 grain bullet & 100 grains of 2f triple 7 what would my fps be , also if I was using 3f triple 7 would it be any different? I was just wondering what the result would be.
