i build all my own stands and never had a problem. just take two or three 2 by 4s and nail thwn on both sides of a split tree...once you do that just fill in the gaps with a wider board... i use long...

im probably 20 ft up in a tree... it slpits into three and its pretty nice, but the only thing is that he cut down all the limbs around it so you are baisically sticking out like a sore thumb... but...
