That is awesome to hear. "Straight from the front lines" if you may. I am getting pumped. I feel like the deer should really get moving with this past front and the one coming toward the weekend....

Thanks for the pictures and updates. They do charge alot, but this is a once in a lifetime type deal. May as well go to a proven area if you are going to pay alot of money.

Guys/Gals,
I will be coming to Illinois on Friday to hunt with Illinois Connection for a week and was just wondering what I should be expecting? I have seen the website with the pictures and stuff...

Yeh that is what I was thinking. I read on the hevi-shot website that they see nothing but a few markings on the barrel after five hundred shots.

I will probably shoot a couple times and then swab the barrel and then compare it to swabbing the barrel after every shot. Maybe I will learn something then. Any more helpful information is welcomed....

The rut kicks in on length of days andnot temperature. Shorter days will activate the rut. It has been 75 degrees here in NC and the deer are ruuting just as hard as they can go.
