You will probably get varying responses depending on the area being hunted. I huntthick areas witha lot of taller grass, and prefer #4 shot regardless of 12ga, 20ga or 410. I have a modified choke in...

Made it out last Friday for a few hours of walking. It was nice to get out while the snow was on the ground. Saw 4, took 2 shots and got 2 wabbits. A great day for me! Also found out the new .410...

I use the 245gr. hollow points with 100gr. of pyrodex (2 50's) and haven't had a whitetail go beyond 25 yards after the shot.
