I guess I'm carrying on a tradition of sorts. I remember as a kid listening to the "grown-ups" talking about not shaving till they get a deer, just wondering if anyone else does this. I've been growing one the last few seasons so today was the last day of shaving to continue the celebration of being a man! Join me my fellow men andput away the razor, Pee in the woods, put something on a stick, put it over a fire, and eat it! GRUNT AND SCRATCH!!!! [8D]

Use to!! What a tradition to go to camp and see the fellow hunters supporting the beard. Since then the wife/job really doesn't permit it. I look to Omish.

I will for the late season this year. I never hunt bucks hard in the September season, so I'll save it for the November/December season when I'm chasing antlers.

I dont grow the full beard- i cant stand the itch the first week- but I do grow a gotee. Last year, when I finally shaved it, it was around 3" long

No to good looking to cover it up.

Grew onefor deer season a few years back (30) and had it ever since!

I used to but with the resent promotion I don't think I will be able to pull of the "dirty" phase. Oh well got to make a living.
