Just a quick follow-up.

I put a Nikon 2-7 pro-staff on that 20 gauge and we sighted it in; what a sweet gun that is. It's got the heavy barrel and I think with alittle more experience my son...

I've looked at the ones at Walmart. The price is right compared to some others I've seen but I wonder about safety ? Are they really as safe as the more expensive ones that are rated for the same...

Once you wear Mucks you'll be hard pressed to wear any other. Here in New England I wear a pair in the spring, summer and fall to cut brush, mow or whatever, and I have a second pair for hunting....
