You stated that you planted it around a beaver pond. Just curious as to the soil type? Most river-bottoms around me are typically wet, cold, mucky ground. I've never had success getting much to grow...

All models function the same and will shoot the same. Just make sure you get a newer style biscuit that has the black fibers at the bottom and brown elsewhere. You now have several sizes of biscuits...
