The fall season is awesome. I've gone out hunting twice and got 2 turkeys. A total of 4 or 5 hours of hunting on public land here in north east Kansas. And the season opens back up again in December...

A Mossberg 835 will kill birds as good, if not better than any other pump gun available.

Bright colored blood is oxygenated(arterial), and dark colored blood is non-oxygenated blood, so you could assume that it was from the extremities or the liver if it was a fresh blood trail.

I have hunted with Mossberg shotguns for about 20 years and they have never failed me in any way. I don't have alot of expirience with 870s but I believe them to be equal to Mossbergs in quality....
