thanks for all the suggestions guyz i will be sure to try the dowels and if i can that river can idea but now all i need to figure out is a light enough cloth to tye on the end anda light enough...

hey just to let you guys know if your gunna try a glove try a new (but old) different style mainly used by more veteran english longbowmen when fireing at a 45' arc
a normal bowman fires one finger...

im just gunna put in a quik point most of the arrows you see today unless they are alum or carbon (i myself like to use cedars) arent made as good as they could be because they are mass produced...

shootin th one that feels best for you is a great peice of advice and i agree do it that way but also keep in mind if you get a recurve is it to heavy for me to lug around all day same with longbows...

yea i liked the dowel idea but then i thought about it my bow would shear them straight through and most of my buddies that wanna try this would do the same and a side from personal injury it might...

I was just wondering if anyone knew where to get, how much, how many, what quality for 36" cedar arrow shafts (just shafts) spined for 45-60lbs bows I am a trad shooter looking to fire flaming...
