Thanks bigdaddybh, That was another one I was thinking about. I was worried about it dropping straight down instead of dropping away. Have you shot with that rest in cold weather. I'm from Louisiana...

Try holding up your bow and hitting it with the palm of your hand. I've been able to locate noise from my bow like that. Just a thought. :eek:

Drop away rest for outback?

I fell in love with the outback bow and will be buying one soon. I was thinking of putting the new drop away quicktune rest that NAP is making. Has anyone tried them. I have never had a drop away...

I hunt in the hills and the first thing I look for is a saddle or a funnel. Sounds like you have a good spot. Remember the wind and practice on severe down hill shots. I hunt alone most of the time...

I've shot both and I'm also trying to decide which one. They both feel great but I'm leaning towards the outback. I just wish I had a dealer around me that carried both to compare them side by side....

Its your mount, if it bothers you have it fixed. Just bring the point to a more natural tip. I have several friends that have done the same thing. I also know plenty of guys with boar mounts that...

I agree with davidmil draw length is to long. Also the tip of your trigger finger should be almost pointing down, at least it works best for me that way. The trigger should be closer to the first...
