Default TWAAAANGGG

When I shoot I hear a Twaaangggg. I do not know how to silence it. It is no problem for me but I do not want a deer to jump the string. Does anyone know how to silence it? I do not know where it is coming from because it happenes so fast. It is a PSE. Thanks

String leeches on your cables and string.

Limb Savers will also help. In truth, the noise is most likely caused by several things. The String Leaches and Limb Savers will go a long way.

The way you described the problem points me to vibration that you need to dampen.[8D]

Sometimes an empty quiver on your bow can be loud if its loose.

wrap a bigger sized rubber band on your quiver bracket. that help quiet a twang I had on my bow.

Limb savers and string leeches or cat whiskers will more than likely tame it. A one piece quiver is noisier than a two piece. If you have a Kwickee it could be the spring steel on the bracket that holds the latch in place. If so, just put something under it. All bows make noise, some more than others. Heavier arrows will deaden the sound a lot too.

Is your sight vibrating? I used a keller pendulum and it always twanged, Switched to a savage pendulum and no more twang.

Did it twang before you dry fired it or only afterwards? If it was after, I would definitely take it to a pro shop that knows what they are doing.
