i hunt bear in MA, for the first couple of weeks in Sept. It gets me all geared up for deer season too.
this year will be a bit different... i can only hunt the first 3 days of the season for...

i' ve seen half a dozen or so good size bucks. all good healthy racks for Western MA. We don' t grow alot of beasts! I did see one very large racked 5 x 5 while i was out on my 4 wheeler last week....

FYI... My " stinkbait" is so bad right now that i have to cover my nose and mouth while refilling my bait bucket.
But, I' ve got 3 nice " shooters" coming in... and a couple little guys. on that...

Man...I think i' m going to have to start buying mine too. We used to get all of ours for free, and then someone squeeled on us. So, that dried up. We just froze a ton that may get us thru the season.

Hang a bag 8 feet or so off the ground filled w/ chicken, fish, beef, etc. Poke a bunch of holes in the bag so the rotten smell can escape. You...
