RE: 3d bow razortec/ultratec?

Given the choice of those two bows, I would go with the Ultratec/XT200 limbs and cam1/2. I shoot a conquest2 for 3D, but I've set up a new Ultratec for hunting and I'm tempted to give it a try for...

RE: looking for the ulimate 3-d bow

Nobody has mentioned it yet, but I have not found a more foregiving, consistant or smoother bow for 3D then my Mathews conquest2. I just set up my new bow; a 03 Ultratec cam1/2. Decisions, decisions....

RE: Paper Tuning

I am in agreement with "Fastcam & Bowpro" I start very close(2.5 to 3 yrds) then move back until I get a bad tear. Starting close can sometimes give you clues as to why your bow is set up strangly....

RE: Cams, Cams, Cams

xpert: Since I posted, I have changed to the mini max and back. I discovered the very same thing. Short brace hieght, a little more jumpy and less forgiving. It didn't feel like the conquest2 I know...

RE: Need some help with 3-d

I've only shot three indoor shoots. If your a good shot at known distance, your half way there. Have fun and don't worry about it. Some indoor shoots, the targets are set up close enough together you...

RE: 3D Stabilizers????????

Ultratecflame said it best, "opinions" Mine is a two foot super stick, but if there is a breeze, I'd have to go with a Sorbi-tec or a Posi-tec. They are designed for the way a one cam kicks and they...

Cams, Cams, Cams

I've been hearing that (all the pros) who shoot Mathews Conquest2's are shooting the mini max cam. I love the way mine shoots now, but if I'm missing out on anything, well then I would just die. To...

RE: Hows your broadheads. Mine are........

I've taken a ton of deer with Muzzy 125 grains. Hunted with them for years. A few years back I did some research and switched to 100 grain Spitfires. I've taken four deer in three years and I'm sold....

punching in the wind

The wind is my nemisis. I know it affects everyone, but I think it blows harder for me. My problem is that there is one shoot every year (Laughlin Nevada) that is like shooting on the moon in gusting...

RE: what do you use for a lube?

Here, here for the mini bars of soap. Especially the cheap stuff. (motel six) I always end up being the official arrow puller and nothing is more aggravating than a burned in acc with some oil...

RE: thinking about a switch to fat shafts for 3D

Thanks for all of the input everyone. I think I'll try either the Vapors or the CXL's, with unibushings of course. Oh & the reason I go by Xring12 is because for some reason almost every shoot in...

RE: thinking about a switch to fat shafts for 3D

Nice to know I'm not alone Ultratecflame. Speaking of ultratec, I just ordered the new Ultratec cam & 1/2. Anyway, I've heard the same thing about the CXL's. I've tried the easton X7's. They flew...

thinking about a switch to fat shafts for 3D

Allow me to intro myself. I go by Xring12. I'm thinking about trying a fat shaft for 3D. Possibly arrow dinamics, or carbon express CXL 250. some feed back before I commit to the purchase.
