RE: Horizontal pins or Vertical pins?

Vertical, you can see more target. I switched from h to v and had no problems. Just personal preference I guess. . .

RE: Hog hunting

I know nothing about hog hunting, we have little to none here in New England, but I' m curious, what would be the evolutionary advantage to this " shield" . Being a biologist makes me wonder, does it...

RE: who uses those spitfire mech. broadheads?

I use the 100grn SF, Proseries, mainly because the tip won' t rust. Two shots, two deer, one ran 10 yards the other 60. I wasn' t totally happy with the penetration though and 5shot has me thinking...

RE: KE so high......through 2 deer?

I was curious about this too. I understand/adopt the ethical issues of safe shooting but what about if you live in MA like I do where you can take two deer at once? Is there a set up of KE where you...

RE: ScentBlocker Plus

I had the scentblocker plus ultralite suit, I had bought it marked down at Cabela' s, it was way too hot and heavy for me. I usually dress in layers and this suit alone was too hot in the early...

RE: tuning problem

I' m no expert, but it seems the only thing not mentioned was that your center shot could be off. I had similiar tuning issues with my Magnatec, fairly decent shooting but arrows with poor attitude...

RE: scent blocker bags?

As far as scentblocking, they're worthless. I had called them once for something else and commented on the deceptive packaging and they didn't feel that was the case.

RE: vacuum sealing game meat

I've had the same problem with fish, two hours out of the water, cleaned properly and vac packed. Only a few months later and it smells fishy. It has been awesome for me on any meat though. I'd eat...

RE: WHAT A TERRIBLE NIGHT-FROM A HIGH TO A LOW

Well, Davidmil that's what they said. They buy dead livestock and practice with them in their back range, pigs was one mentioned, could be that livestock have a weaker skeletal system, don't know. As...

RE: WHAT A TERRIBLE NIGHT-FROM A HIGH TO A LOW

I had a similar experience last year. At that range I believe even a mechanical would work with a properly tuned bow. I spoke with people at NAP and they routinely break leg bones with Spitfires at...

RE: 3rd Annual Broadhead Success Poll

I'm a third year bow hunter who doesn't really count the first two because they were with borrowed or defective gear. This year I got my Magnatec working well two weeks into the season so I opted to...

RE: What type of Hoyt to buy?

I bought the MagnaTec two years ago and love it. You didn't mention
what kind of budget you have. The Magnatec ran me about 425 bucks.
I would have loved to spend more but by the time I was done I...
