I set the hammer at halfcock and adjusted the flint about a 1/16 away from the frizzen. I can see the flint is chipping up pretty good along the edge.

I bought the new style hammer for my lock the problem is the square hole in the hammer is too large anybody have any ideas how to tighten up the fit on the square peg protruding out of the lock ?...

All the flints I have for the TC 54cal renegade are about 27 years old never used I put a flint in the gun and adjusted it about 1/16 away at half cocked doesn't seem like like a lot of sparks do...
