Default Question about load ?

I'm going to shoot my cva wolf today for the first time. I'm using 50 Cal. Sabot 300 gr. .451 Funnel Point Mag Bullet. What would be a good
starting point for the volume charge of Blackhorn 209 to use?

Thanks
Gary

Try 85 grains of BlackHorn 209 for starters. I have been having good luck in the Optima I have with 90 grains and the 300 grain bullet.

I would start at 80 grains, then work your way up in 5 or 10 grain increments until you find what shoots the best for you. I've had good luck with 80 - 90 grains in my Wolf with a 250 grain bullet.
