I have an Ol'man vision and an older summit (not sure what model but you climb with it the same as you would the open shot). As far as safety goes, I like the way the summit grabs the tree better....

I think this depends on your rifle. Of course the loose powder will allow you to fine tune your load, but it could shoot pellets great. I have an omega that is turning out to be a tack driver with 2...

I'm no expert but since you don't have any replies...

Its been my experience that both of my rifles shoot best around 90-100gr of powder. It seems to me that if you try to push the bullet faster...

Well I couldn't replicate what I did yesterday. Call it luck, moon phase, star alignment, whatever. I guess it was just my day yesterday.
Its still shooting great, just not tearing holes. Thats ok...

Cayugad, I was shooting the mmp hph-24 sabots when I shot this group. I also tried the mmp 3-petals. With the 3-petals the first two shots were close and the third was about 1.5 inches to the right....

Thanks everyone!

Well, I finally got to do some testing with my new omega yesterday and lets just say that I am very pleased.
After talking with Sabotloader , a while back, I decided to shoot the 250gr Gold dots....

Thanks guys. I sighted the rifle in at 50yds because thats about the farthest shot I will ever get. Iwanted to check it at 100yds just in case.

I plan on trying several different sabots to see...
