As much as I love my Marlin 30-30, if I had to keep just one rifle, it would be my custom Mauser Scout rifle in .308 Win.

I like the 30-30 for deer. It's probably all I need for deer hunting in Mn. It kills well and it's easy on the shoulder and the pocketbook. I also have a .308 Win if I need more range. Not sure what...
