    As much as I love my Marlin 30-30, if I had to keep just one rifle, it would be my custom Mauser Scout rifle in .308 Win.

    If I had to choose one gun to keep, I would choose my Remington 870. My grandpa gave it to me before he died, and out of all my guns I shoot the best with it.

    I would have to say my Remington 700 sps .270win, thats my favorite
    :-)

    although my favorite rifle ever made and dream rifle is a SpringField M-14 7.62mm

    i was considering buying a savage 7 mm 08i hear its a great gun for deer how about bear there are bear where i live will it be adequate enough for bigger game

    The 7MM-08 is fine for most all NA big game out to 250-300 yards. I would leave it out for the large Bears. Grizzly, Brown and Polar but it great for Black Bears.
