Thanks for all the help everyone. The suggestion about the ear protection is great thanks. We shoot .22 alot plinking and we always wear muffs...even if it isn't that loud with a .22 I hurt my ears...

Thanks for the advice. The Glocks don't fit her hands to well so they are out...the kel tec and kahrs are definately an option i'm looking into.

That is so true...after 2-3 shots it should be over. Mightest well carry a AR with barrel mags if you can't get the job done in 2-3! :D

Yea I figured why go smaller or largerthan 9mm...some people say it isn't enough stopping power and they need .45cal etc.
It's all about shot placement, you can down a human with a .22 if you hit...

Ive read about the kahrs but never actually held one. Are they thick and fat in your hands like lets say a glock?

I was looking at the Taurus titanium pro brand also...very light and fit in her...

We shoot regular .22 plinking targets etc. She wants to move up in cal. and there are a few nice options in the paper I was looking at purchasing. We are going to be taking concealed carry classes...

Reality is that I can buy a handgun from a private citizen whenever I want to. I can also give that handgun to any law abiding citizen that I want to as a gift. Not everyone buys firearms through...

Thanks for the feedback. I know alot of run ins with predators can be avoided but you just cant overlook the wallop a 12 guage makes with slugs and 00.
