Default Remington 11-87 Question SIGHTING IN

I'm sighting in a Remington 11-87 Slug Gun for my cousin 20GA and we hunt in a area where you only get 20-70 yard shots maybe a freak 100 yard shot every blue moon.

I was wondering If I should sight in at 50 or 70 and if 50 should I hit bullseye or be high and if so how much?

I want to be able to be dead on at 20 or 30 but still reach out at 70 or 100 if I have to whats the best advice thanks.

Sight it in to be 2 or 3" high at 50 and you'll be good to go for the short shots on out to 100 yards, but make sure he shoots it so he knows what it's doing and that it shoots where he's pointing it and not just rely on how you shot it!

Depends on the slugs you're shooting...

If you're shooting a high FPS slug, the further back you can sight in...

2.5" high at 50 yards. I have the same gun, using Remington Accu-Tip 3" slugs

Good advice. Just because it's "on" for you doesn't mean it will be for your cousin...or anybody else
