Mueller scopes??
Wow....I'm keeping the scopes and sights forum active.....lol. Anyways. I was at the sporting goods store today looking at a fresh batch of scopes they got in. They got in a new scope. It is called mueller. It was a 4.5-14x40 apv I think. It seemed like a really nice scope it was very clear and seemed well built. I was just wondering if any of you guys have used mueller, and your opinions about them. I've still got a couple weeks before muzzle loader season so I'm taking my time and trying to get the perfect scope for me. I plan on a trip to cabelas in the next few days. So any help would be great...Thanks

Check the discounted/display model/refurbished sale areas for a better scope IMHO. Cabela's Bargain Cave, Bass Pro, Natchess, SWFA and others have some real bargains on quality scopes.

I just put a new Mueller on my .22 and it's great, very clear, works fine--however, awhile back when shopping for a big bore scope, I called Mueller and asked them about their line standing up to the recoil and he was very honest and stated they only make one model that is built for big bores, all the rest are meant for the much milder calibers, .22's, .22 mags, Hornets etc so I went Bushnell and Leopold or Burris on the heavys---John
