i would like some opinions on what is the best scope for $600.00 or less, i am wanting to get a new scope and have about $600.00 to spend but would like some ideas as to which one to get.

Here's another vote for the Zeiss Conquest.

It seems to be the best hunting scope in that price range. If you want a tactical scope in that price range the SWFA SS scopes would get the nod.

As long as it's a Zeiss,you can't go wrong...
