I have a 4x32 Simmons Pro Piamond on my Rem 1100. It cost $79.00 five years ago. The optics are clear and so far it has held up. I have shot 3 1/2" turkey shells and slugs when it was on an 835 Ulti-mag and seversal more slugs wiht my 870 and now my 1100. I probably have shot close to 100 slugs with it over the years with no problems. I actually took my first deer with it this year as I usally opt for my ML. I was surprised how well I could see through it with the available light.
