Default Is that all there is?????

Just got my first Zeiss scope from Cabela's today!!!! I purchased a 3-9 x 40. Scope is incredibly clear... I only have 1 question... When I opened the box that the scope came in, it looked terribly empty ( compared to the Leupolds I have owned) . The only thing in the box was the scope and factory bra ( wrapped in a corrigated sleeve) , a warranty booklet, an instruction booklet and an empty wax paper type bag. Is this all that is supposed to be in the box?

No cloth or wrench????

Anyone know?

That's all that was in mine, I got the 1.8x5.5x38, mounted it on my Hawkeye all weather in 35 Whelen.

Yep, that's it. But for $399 (at Cabelas now) it's a heck of a good deal!

It was a good buy AND a coupon popped up to give an additional $ 20 off any pirchase of $100 or more AND FREE shipping. Total cost to my door $379.00. Just ordered a rifle to mount to the scope ( Tikka T3 Hunter in .25-06).

What did you expect, a box of German chocolates with it?

No.... But Leupold includes a cleaning cloth and an allen wrench (I believe). The empty wax paper bag in the Zeiss box led me to believe something may be missing. After further inspection, it is evident that the warranty pamphlet as well as owner's manual was stored in this bag at one time.

But thanks for your response just the same.
