RE: Huskemaw scopes?

Never heard of them. Nikon has been good enough for me.

RE: Huskemaw scopes?

I tend to agree and disagree with some replies on this thread. For one though i think the whole reason behind a BDC reticle is ease of use and quick adjustment out in the field.I don't think a person is going to have time to pull out their handy dandy pocket calculator, wind meter, balistic chart,ect...
They(huskemaw)have taken the time to do the research in the feild and have demonstrated how their system works.
Yeah, there are other manufacturers like leupold in which they have BDC built into their optics. They work too as i own a leupold vx-l with a B&C reticle...IT WORKS!
The only reason i would buy a huskemaw optic is due to the fact it is tuned just for that specific round and eliminates all the guess work as to hold over.My leupold works but is not "dead on" like a huskemaw would be.
Are they worth $950??? I don't know...depends on how aqcurate you want to be.

My reasoning would start and end with one simple question ..... WHO??

But I guess every company is a WHO?? at some point and time in their life.....;)

I enjoyed seeing someone shooting an elk at over 800 yards & dropping it.

Now there's a review about that scope. Sounds decent.

im pretty sure only the higher end bushnells are japanease. and all of my nikon scopes are made in the phillipines

well where i hunt, there isnt enough time to dial up 800-1000 yards. game would be down the road a touch by then. i see these shots and say, man did that guy see what and where he has to walk to and through to get that dead animal that is 1000 yards away.
