RR - Good luck to you in July. I have not been there during the big tourist season but I imagine it gets pretty crowded. I bet you have your spot staked out on the pier before the daylight.

OT - The Outer Banks is in North Carolina. Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head are the big beach areas in South Carolina.

Avon pier sustained more damage from the hurricane yesterday, may not be open by July, if not I'll rent a yak, buy some tuna heads and soak big baits for a week.

Pretty much suk'd, when there was good water the surf was rough, finally fished 1 day at rodanthe in not the best water, caught nothing but bait, and 1 17" whiting, got to spend time with a few longtime friends though so was worth the trip. maybe next year!
